KEMPER AVIATION is a complete, modern flight school. We offer the advantage of a nationally recognized training system in conjunction with the best maintained equipment available. Our team of flight instructors is a well-balanced group who ensure a professional edge over the competition. KEMPER AVIATION is built on integrity and is committed to providing you with the highest quality training at an affordable price.

At KEMPER AVIATION, flight training is to the highest international standards, but with the personal touch and contact that you only receive from a specialized academy. Our programs are designed around each student's individual needs, schedule, and career goals.
The school has students from around the globe, with many Europeans favoring our open philosophy. Additionally, Kemper Aviation provides a more affordable approach to building flight time for CAA ratings when compared to the costs of similar European rental rates. Training in the United States is also more affordable because of our open airspace system and large, nearby geographic areas designated specifically for flight training -- ultimately, less time is wasted getting into the air and more flight time can be dedicated to training. The weather is another important factor to consider, as almost every day in Florida is an opportunity to take off for the skies above.

When you come to Kemper Aviation, our approach to flight training is personalized to your individual needs. Based on the highest standards of FAA Part 141, our Professional Pilot Training Programs will graduate you with all of the basic requirements and training that you will need to continue your career toward working in the airlines.

Where other flight schools often train their students in tired, old airplanes or cut corners on maintenance, we have always kept our fleet of aircraft to the highest standard. Our maintenance is managed right on the field. Our fleet of airplanes provides students with a choice of high wing Cessnas or low wing Pipers. We also offer a twin-engine aircraft as well.

In 1989, Joe Kemper and his wife Kathy returned to Florida from their missionary work in South America and began Kemper Aviation. With only one Cessna 172, the school grew slowly into a productive business. Joe instructed and repaired the airplanes; Kathy ran the office. By the year 2000, the school had become a FAA Part 141 flight school with nine airplanes and seven flight instructors.

After thirteen years, the Kemper’s sold the school to a Japanese school in 2002. After two brief years doing business they were ready to close the doors in November 2004.

Interested in the opportunity and concerned for the remaining International Students, the school was purchased from the Japanese school in 2004.
